blogworthy

My question for today is, how do you judge what is blogworthy:ie: criteria?! I guess that anything releveant to your blogsubject would be,of course, but how about the tangential stuff?

Tangential, what could be tangential to sublimation? I can't help but think of that MTV show with the bubbles, where they had topic for each show but then they used the topic to go off on tangents, so that anything that had even the slightest relevance, and I do mean slightest, we're added and commented on until everything they said connected in a kind full circle zen way, that show was pretty funny at times.

The reason for my question, and my interest in that show, is this: I was at a BBQ party for Gryphen, a friend's baby was having a first birthday, and I overheard a conversation where some people were talking about the baby genius action figures. I guess I have only heard a small amount of the conversation, so (I am not sure what these action figures are, but I have seen others, they're kind of funny,) anyway, I gathered enough from the conversation that these action figures are supposed to introduce historical genius figures in a way a baby can comprehend,( they can look, handle and suck on thier heads) so far they had Baby Einstien,Baby Gandhi, Baby Freud. And what got my attention was that the Baby Freud was the one that was questioned and controversial, well, you know, those SEX theories of his.....

(insert Editorial comment here) WOW!!! How far we have come, amazing that it is the 21 st century and his "sex theories " are still an issue when it comes to action figures and little kids. What is it about Freud? I guess people don't want to have thier savage selves revealed or something. One thing that always stands out,for me when it comes to Freud, is his thoughts about "the thin veneer of civilization" and that people are particularly touchy when it comes to thier sexual nature/practices....
