new discovery

I have discovered a new author that I like, Jonis Agee! I have been reading "The River Wife" for the last few days and it is very interesting! It's about a woman who discovers some diaries from the early 19th c. written  by a woman who lived in Missouri and married (or maybe it was common law) a French Trapper! This is a very exciting adventure novel about what it would be like to survive an earthquake (in Missouri? hmmm...) and move on. Wow, I really like it. I will be reading this past the due date, I'll tell you. I love how some books/stories just pick you up and carry you.  You don't exactly escape ,in the usual sense, but become involved in something beyond yourself and your life! I will be looking for more of her work,that's for sure. 

I think reading is one way to sublimate creative energy,to get some satisfaction and actually learn something you wouldn't discovered otherwise,like, did you imagine that there were earthquakes in Missouri?
